Play List #1: Backseat

Every time I attempted to make a sexy play list, it came out sounding like garbage. My problem lay in mixing too many genres—it was too jarring. However, I’ve come up with a solution: smaller play lists, specific themes. The rule should help me keep me focused (on the music and more!).

Play List Title: “Backseat”

Mood: A sticky summer night, illegal parking, a rusty car with no air conditioning, steamed windows, hot bodies clinging to the seats, hands everywhere…

Tracklist:

  1. Jefferson Airplane “It’s No Secret”
  2. Clarence Carter “Slip Away”
  3. Otis Redding “That’s How Strong My Love Is”
  4. Bill Withers “Ain’t No Sunshine”
  5. Led Zeppelin “Since I’ve Been Loving You”
  6. The Beatles “Don’t Let Me Down”

-Lux Zakari.
